#9 Peony – Smashed Knee (NI)
#9 Peony – Broken Ribs (MNG)
The Flowers showed their colour early on in the game, advancing steadily into the opponents side. The steadfast style bore fruit in the shape of a touchdown about halfway into the first half. Then it was Mayhem's turn to attack, but the Flowers defended fiercely and did indeed stop their opponent's advance for a while, until Alexander "the Great" (what's so great about him, he's only a male?) slipped through with the ball. The Flowers caught up with him, of course, but he managed to wiggle his way past FIVE defending Flowers players and score on the last seconds of the first half. The game was even.

The Second half started off with General Mayhem charging and the Flowers in defense. This time, the Flowers were even more efficient at stopping them than in the first half, and they even managed to turn the situation into a charge of their own and, once again, took the lead in the match. Halfway through the second half, there had been several knock-outs on both sides, but the real shocker was the brutal Attila the Hun, who caused a serious injury to poor little Peony, who was promptly carried off the pitch. The injury turned out to be a pinched nerve that would surely ruin her career. After the game, she decided to retire from the Blood Bowl pitch and join her former team as an assistant coach. The last drive looked very difficult for the Flowers, but they had a bit of luck and managed to deliver the ball as far away as possible from their end zone. Still, miraculously, Mayhem managed to get the ball and deliver it back to their Lion Warrior, Genghis Khan, who promptly scored the second equalizer touchdown.

And so, after a great performance from both teams, the game was a tie.

Sir: The following report of the part taken in the recent battle of TBB, by Regitment C, of the General Mayhem Brigade.

Highlights
Half 1:
Turn 3: Poppy sprouts upfield from the oncoming mayhem blitz an passes to an open and budding Iris down the sideline.
Turn 4: Iris blooms and wlatzes in the endzone for a TD.
Turn 7: Eriwn J. Rommel fire a rocket to Alexandors Philippou Makedonon.
Turn 8: Alexander the great lives up to his billing dodging past 5 infantry defenders and scoring in the final play of the half

Half 2:
Turn 4: Peony is trimmed in her prime by a rampaging Attila the Hun weilding his weedmaster 2000.
Turn 5: Poppy picks up the loose ball off the turf and drifts it lazily into the wating petals of Blitzer Orchid.
Turn 6: Orchid floats into the endzone for a 2:1 lead
Turn 8: Unidentified Stroke of Luck (USL) sighted as George S. Patton picks up loose ball deep in own half, rifles a prayer to the holy Saladin who hand off to the ravenous Genghis Khan, who then proceeds to run over to the endzone like he overran the chinese wall and then score the game tying TD.

Final Summary: Excting and crazy game, low in casualties, played in the true spirit if the geneva BB convention.

All of which is respectfully submitted.
R. C. TYLER,
Colonel, Fifteenth and Thirty-seventh Tennessee Vols.
Major FLo,
Acting Assistant Adjutant-General.
