#9 Saviour – Dead (RIP)
With the exception of poor Saviour's demise, this was a very fortunate outing for VNV Nation. These two Titans of the Treefolk (See, Evo! I can alliterate, too!) were pretty well matched on paper, but the ever so fickle snake-eyes kept biting BTiLF in the metaphorical arse.

The entire first half consisted of VNV Nation snagging loose balls and scoring in 2 turns. Fortunately for drb, the second half was much closer and he outscored me 2-1. DRB says he normall plays bruiser teams, and it shows a bit. He seems to favor getting blocking dice over securing position - not really a bad strategy, if you can put everyone on the ground. This isn't really a criticism, rather a note, as it still makes for a fun game and works pretty well for him when the dice are rolling a little more evenly.

Thanks for the great game, drb. Let me know when you're up for that rematch.
