“Not a lot of good things can be said about this game, it was not the team that I thought I was going to play. If you are going to play on fumbbl, then in the IRC chatroom you should have to wear the name of the coach as you are playing as, not the name of some other coach, I thought I was getting challenged by a lizard team, about 40 TR lower than me, and ended up playing a bashing team 11 TR above me. I even asked "Are you sure you want to play me with THOSE lizards" thinking that the lower team was the one to be played. Anyway, thats my little rant, back to the game.

Game started out with me executing a 2 turn flawless score. This is not too surprising with this team, because this is how they ussually start, and then never score again. On the resulting kick-off, he tried to hand off the ball to his Krox deep in his half. I thought that was kinda silly, especcially with the inevitable turnover (with a reroll) that followed. I locked up his Sauruses on the line, and sent a couple of guys for deep penetration, in case he tried to make that silly play again. This time he didn't even bother with the skink on the pick-up and just had the Krox do it. But to my surprise, the Krox managed to pick up the ball. (What is that, a 6+, or just a natural 6?) I spread out his guys in an attempt to Isolate the Krox, but the best I could get was a 1die block, that failed to knock out the ball. He scored in turn 8 of the first half.

In the second half, my guy with Kick managed to have the kick scatter 4 squares, off the sideline. Touchback. Who does he hand it to, his Krox. This time, he managed to get a saurus cage around his Krox, giving little to no chance for my team spring the ball. Unfortunately for him, he left his skinks running around.

Now, I can't begin to say that I have complete control over the evil nature of Dark elves, but when faced with the impossibility of opening that cage, and the definate ability to hurt skinks it was an easy decision, for the elves to stop playing the game, and hurt skinks. With a few bribes in the appropriate places, and a powerful block thrown by Can't Block (go figure), Wigsht (the +2 MV skink) was killed, the apoth failed, and the game officials awarded him the MVP.

This, of course, angered my opponent (who I am still unsure of what his real name is) to foul like mad, and the game went from bad to worse. Having, nothing to lose and time running out, Completely Worthless returned the favor, hunted down any skinks that made the mistake of standing up, and singleing out lone sauruses for pummelings, and fouls.

This made my Top 5 list of worse games ever.”
