All he needed was a push to end the game with a draw and rolls double skulls at the very end now thats nuffle haveing its way with someone ,we'll let you get close but then we'll screw yah. From when I received I could tell the dice weren't going to be with me... I just had that feeling... but I had a numerical advantage, and I hoped some early big hitting would keep me safe... it was not to be...
There were too many push backs, and way too many double skulls for my liking... and it was very difficult to contain a WE side that knew exactly how to move the ball... they scored first... and I knew it was going to be tough to win... I equalised, but there was a danger from a WE leap and blitz, so I had to score allowing the WEs two last turns... and they scored damn them! :-p
1-2 down into the second half and the casualties started coming... but the WE played keep ball... spreading their numbers across the field. The war dancers were pivotal as their leaps never seemed to fail and it needed a splat to put them down. The zombies and mummies were out of the game really, and it was down to the 4 ghouls on the pitch to do their stuff... and they did... they got right up to the endzone, and it needed a the wight with tackle to get a push back on two dice for me to draw... but no... double skulls and no rerolls... ah the pain.
The W.O.T.U left the F.NJ.R.F.C extremely depleted for the next game... but they deprived W.O.T.U of vital points to keep them in touch with the leaders...
