The humans played well, though. They gave me a good run for the money. Fortunately for me, the extra speed and agility (a point... or two...) was enough to pull off a short-handed win.

I started off with a pretty standard drive, scoring on turn two. Burk received and got some men downfield, but I managed to swipe the ball before he could score and made it back across by the end of the half. 2-0.

The second half I nearly turned him over again, but he managed to sneak a catcher past for the score. I received and managed to drive it in by the end of the half, but it was too late for them to catch me. 3-1 final.

I started with 9 players with a boatload of skills and stat upgrades. The tree sat out, but both the nigglers showed, which was really what gave me the game. Against such a tenacious defense I would have been hurting without them. The tree sat out the first half, but that was ok, as he provided some much needed relief in the second.

Burkdawg was a great opponent and we both had a lot of fun (at least I hope! I know I did). Thanks again for the match, Burkdawg.”
