A mixture of bad luck and bad play at the wrong time cost me the victory here. I started my defence with a double skulls! Rolled a second on turn 4 and thus had no rerolls left for the half. I played carefully with a cage, but then on turn 7, for some reason left my Thrower wide open for a blitz.

I duly lost the ball and then rolled a 1 the next turn to pick it up again so was down 0-1 at half time.

I played brutal to try and stay in the match, sending players out of bounds a few times, and with the man up advantage, I was able to score twice.

My opponent played well and got the equaliser at the very end for a well fought 2-2 draw.

Unfortunately, I we both earnt only 30K from this match.”
