“It looked like a nice elfbowl match to start off the season, but even the softest looking match in this conference proved to be otherwise. After causing 2 cas in as many turns the Triumph got caught out covering the switch too heavily, with some tricky elfplay seeing slyblade #1 make it to the touchline, only to stumble there. With our chance to counter within sight, Yellantir was caught out eyeing off the touchline instead of the ball. After a scrap where both teams had chances as recovering the ball, Twilight sets up Slyblade #1 to put the Duskriders ahead. Receiving we Illanor miscued his throw, but there was still a shot as scoring before the half, but missed the next throw to level the scores.

The 2nd half has an equally bad failure with the passing play, with the thrower missing again. With some good play from the Druchii blitzers, they scooted away to push it to 2-0. Desperately looking to make something from this game, Illanor threw a quick pass to a lineman to keep him out of the important part of the play. And it worked! The pass flew straight and the Triumph were on the board. Starting the final drive and still not a man back from the KO box. Without a chance to win we looked to shut down a chance at going 3-1 down, but our star catcher was slain, and revenge not defence was on our mind in the dying seconds. Unfortunately we got neither. Well played to Longshanks, and hope you survive the season.

3 Points - Twilight Deathmoth - This burly elf made the big hits, and even though he missed the last quater he still played a big part in setting up the win.

2 Points - Slyblade Spite II, #1 - Most of the reason he looked like he was everywhere was that there's 2 of them! This guy though got saved from injury by the doc first turn and earned every second he was on the pitch after that.

1 Point - Dreamreiver Endawn II - Started on the bench, but definitely pulled his weight once they got short on numbers. Also put the kill on my catcher at the end.
