“Well, this game started ok for the elves, there was no way i was going to stop his first TD... after that, I was very lucky to get away from his defence, and eventually pull off a TD myself. Far too many close calls for my liking, due to skillful coaching on my opponent's behalf.

The half time break involved our new witch elf pointing out that she hadn't seen enough blood yet, and how was she supposed to carry out important rituals without some? Naturally, coming into the second half, they were pumped up, and ready to deal out some damage! My opponent did have very poor luck on armour rolls in this half, and there wasn't much to be done as his team fell apart one by one, ending up with just 5 elves on the field. A silly mistake on my part let him almost ruin my chances of a TD, but the lack of numbers really meant that it was near impossible for him to secure the ball properly.

The third TD was just luck really - I chose to take the risk of not stalling (which would have been easy, but no fun at all... With some bad luck on my part, it could easily have turned into a draw (which i think would have been a fair outcome really). I hope that the elves don't take too long recovering from the damage they took this match.”
