“The lads can't recall much of this match. At the time it didn't seem that much was hanging in the balance. Just another game to get through. The lads didn't run away with it though, and although they got through without copping the dreaded virus this day, niggles and other handicaps ensured they still only had 8 of 12 elves hit the field. The Horrors played a good ball game too and continually threatened to upset if the Vanguard failed one of their drives. Thankfully all went well and the Vanguard snuck over the line just one try ahead.
