Pesu was never really a favourite among his fellow hobs, but all hopes of kinship faded away when he returned from the Shadowspires tournament somehow changed. It all seemed to stem from the point when he scored Yantai's only TD of the tournament. From that moment on, he never seemed to be alone. He was always following someone, no matter whom. -- All slaves had a habit of staying out of line of sight (or at least out of arm's reach) to avoid unwanted attention, but now Pesu was positively clingy.
Since the inaugural Shadowspires match Pesu followed his master, or whoever was closest to him at the time, everywhere. He became very difficult to shake off by any means other than a well aimed boot. This ensured he was also despised by his masters in addition to his former colleagues.
Pesu himself seems oblivious to the change, and to the feelings of others.
