Volo, baron of Fort de Neuf in the Duchy of Parravon, is a dedicated servant to the Lady of the Lake, as well as the highest ideals of honour and chivalry. His father's premature death (whispered to be due to years of overindulgence in Bordeaux wine) elevated him to the Barony. Though he was only just accepted as a full knight of the realm, Volo took to his duties with gusto. Young and full of passion, this knight always dreamt of the grail. With peace reigning in his lands, it came as no surprise to those who knew him that he used the remaining coffers of his family to help fund the creation of a bloodbowl team. While his home is slowly falling into disrepair the headstrong Baron trains and readies himself for the pitch, keen for glory and honour against worthy opponents. He hopes to win a trophy, a grail, when he and his fellows have gained enough favour from the lady. Perhaps then he will restore the crumbling eastern tower or retire and wed as his chamberlain keeps stubbornly urging.

Update: Attempted to take down a grave guard, but instead wound up getting head-butted. It turns out that not wearing a helmet can be rather catastrophic in such situations. Suffering a cracked skull, the Baron was taken off the pitch by stretcher leaving a trail of blood behind him. Sadly the team's doctor couldn't save him in time. Volo's next of kin has been informed. It is hoped that he might join the team or at least send someone else to take his brother's place.
