Biography:
Joanna Swift used to have a pretty calm and - in retrospect - blessed life in her little village. Her family's mill was the most important building there and most people came by every now and then. Joanna however used to hate it!
She was basically bored which she took out on both her older brothers and her parents. Often ignoring her chores in favor of doing pranks or going exploring, she chose to spend a lot of time alone, not really appreciating her family - which she soon came to regret.
One late evening she went by the cemetery and suddenly noticed something strange. Investigating, she found amongst the graves a nasty looking ghoul, eating someone recently deceased... Infuriated Joanna didn't reflect to call for help, but charged headlong into the monstrosity!
Her memory is a blur after that. When she woke up, she was back in her parents cabin, her crying mother tending some nasty bite wounds on her arms. She eventually learned her brothers had heard her calling for aid. They managed to reach her in time to save her, but her eldest brother paid for it with his life. It was a harsh lesson, but one she would carry with her forever.
Since then she values family, friends and teamwork above all else, and is secretly scared of doing things on her own.

Joanna hates ghouls with vengeance and screams her brother Bill's name while ripping them to shreds.
