Vocifera Sakkaruba was an elite warrior from the East, specialising in unarmed combat. He fought under the banner of Duke Showlin, a powerful lord who claimed to be descended from the Wu Tan Dynasty.

Duke Showlin founded a tournament to crown a supreme warrior in his lands and promised a small fortune and promotion to general for the winner.

Sakkaruba entered the tournament and began to crush his opponents one by one and made it to the semi finals with only a few minor scratches and bruises.

In the semi final he faced Rangor - a brutal half ogre with the strength of a giant ant. The clash was one some had predicted would happen during the finals and they were finely matched - for every shot landed by Rangor, Sakkaruba landed 10 more but each shot of Rangor did the damage of ten of Sakkaruba's shots...

Battered and bruised the fight had lasted two hours and it looked like one of them would die soon but noone knew who. A short break at which point it was announced that, Khaino Stranglejoy, a fanatical priest warrior with a devotion to the art of blood spilling that was only matched by the rumours he had made a pact with Khorne himself, had just killed his opponent to make it to the finals in a record 20 seconds.

Upon hearing his, Rangor grew disheartened and, to the crowd's dismay and suprise, surrendered to Sakkuraba.

Already close to death from his epic battle with Rangor, Sakkuraby did not celebrate but instead made a mental plea to all of the Gods in the known world. If any of you help me I will pledge my life to you should I win this battle.

Upon making his pledge Sakkuraba began to feel faint and staggered into the arena to meet his opponent, feeling cursed and abandoned, grimly resolved to meet his fate.

But as he stepped closer to Khaino his wounds began to bubble and green slime emerged from them, causing him pain at first and then waves of calming nothingness. His first punch caught Khaino in the chest, his second to was to the throat, the third shattered Khaino's skull...

That night a shadowed beast of a man visited Sakkuraba and told him of his new master...

"you shall be joining our most depraved blood bowl team to become a legend - welcome to Papa Nurgle's fold... for eternity... Mwahahahahahaa"
