Nicolete was a poor peasant girl from a small village in Mousillon. She was only sixteen years old when she experienced her first visions of the Lady of the Lake, calling upon her to travel the countryside and help the sick. Indeed her touch seemed to heal all sickness, even the dreaded Red Pox, and she was soon revered as something of a saint among the local peasantry. After receiving another vision from the Lady of the Lake, Nicolete led a gathering of followers towards neighboring Bastonne to visit the Great Cathedral. Unfortunately her saintly career was ended by a crossbow bolt to the chest as her entourage was repelled by a Cordon Sanitaire patrol.
Noone knows if her visions were truly of the Lady of the Lake, but the magical powers she was gifted with kept her spirit alive after death, haunting the swamps of Mousillon for years. When she was found by Drache she was more than happy to sign for the team and get away from her dreary surroundings, but her compassion for the poor and downtrodden remains.
