Due to numbers, was forced to start in his first game. Through coaches' choice he started 8 times offensively and 9 times defensively in 10 games, seemingly jumping ahead of the other 2 rookies on the depth chart. He played 126 turns.

He made the 2nd foul in team history in game 31, when he fouled a troll at the end of the half in an attempt to ease the 2nd half attempt at tying the game.
