EULOGY:
DAIGO THE DOOM-DIVER

A couple of seasons ago - as Mother Nature was napping between her bouts of sakura and terrible summer shikkei - a freak of nature was born.

DAIGO the Doom-diver.

He had the agility of an elf, but the wits of a snotling. He had the looks, but not the brains.

AG5 it said on his sought after trading card.

When Mother Nature woke from her nap, she was shocked. Why was it that this monsterling could run around defying the very laws she had created?

She had to send forth her forces of nature to hunt him down (she didn't trust that the players in a little game called Blood Bowl would exterminate it).

Fire, Blizzard, Terror, Wind, Earthquake, Tsunami - They were all called upon.

It would finally require a combination(!) of them to rid the world of this petit abbomination.

Today it happened vs the Khemri of Two Dees.

Wind strikes first blow:
One of the sumos did a rutine throw of a DAIGO ball in hand. He was flying comfortably over skeletons, blitz-ras and mummies. He saw only green field of the open khemri half in front of him. But suddenly there was a gust of wind. He felt he was being forced down too early. ***BAM*** There is a splash of goblin blood, as a mummy gets knocked out cold. Followed by a lifeless DAIGO falling to the ground. But the apothecary - having only ever once healed a goblin before rushes to the field. After a lot of commotion, DAIGO rises, and smiles to the lady goblettes.

but it wasn't over...

Blizzard strikes the final blow.
Towards the end of the match, DAIGO dodges past a tackling Thro-ra. He picks up the ball, dodges twice more, but the ground is suddenly very slippery. More slippery than wet grass, more slippery than Ogre spit. Yes, even more slippery than his favourite goblette Hikaru's pie (its homemade). He crashes to the ground, breaks his neck, and dies immediatly.

So now its over. Takamizakari is once again the star.

RIP DAIGO.

You should have died way sooner.
