Ti-uax had travelled to the Temple City of Itza from his nearby spawning pool of Pahuax. In his youth he had been reared by the Oldbloods - strict disciplinarians who taught him how to fight, often at the expense of his fellows. This prepared him well for Blood Bowl, a game he played initially as a break from his military preparation. His talent was spotted early and his ear bent to the promises of glory to be won on the field of play. It was an easy decision for him to make and he quickly joined the ranks of hopefulls competing to join the Insequents.

Ti-uax demonstrated strong all-round ability in the drafts and was selected as one of the 15 Sauruses competing for 6 places on the team. Throughout the Insequents training camp he continued to demonstrate his all-round form and general technical abilities, but his touch let him down when it counted: with the team's star, Garconquawaq, steaming towards him for a blitz, he fumbled his hand-off allowing Garconquawaq to casually knock him aside, gather the ball and charge off to score without breaking his stride.

It came as a great surprise to him then when, less than a week after the tournament began, he received message by Terradon rider that he was to depart at once for the White Isle and report directly to the head coach. To be consigned to the city's Temple Circuit, playing local league games for his career had been difficult to accept and Ti-uax had been on the verge of reporting to the nearest Oldblood to re-enlist.

Suffice to say he departed at once and learnt, upon his arrival, of the untimely death of Garconquawaq (news which he struggled to accept without a small smile to himself, a smile which became a barely concealed grin when he found he was to take Garconquawaq's number too). The coaches instructions were clear and brief: Itza expects every lizard to do his duty....so don't die before you've hurt someone else.

Achievements:
  • Signed to replace Garconquawaq of the Macu Peaks
  • Winner of WIL Fringe Plate XI
  • Winner of WIL Fringe Plate XVI
  • Member of team to graduate to the WIL proper
