Knut Twist retired after 42 games for the Sons, fracturing his skull playing against Amazons.
Earlier in his career before he had become a Super Star a smashed knee at the hands of some Orcs had left him with a niggling injury. Against the apothecarys advice he continued to play for another 15 games as the team completed their first ever Human League Premiership Sprint. He led the team through the rebuild following the death of Knot Theface, Ice Screamer.
After his head injury, he was deemed too much a liability to put on the pitch again, and was told he would never play for the Sons again. Management had offered him a role within the coaching staff, however Twist declined the offer. He has never attended a game since.
