Kestrel the Devil-Eye is a strange creature. No other of the Demons knows where Kestrel comes from, whether it is male or female, or how it met Drake. A secretive, menacing presence, Kestrel mutters dark incantations, peers at the stars for long periods, and seems to see the world through a different lens. It's left eye is made of a strange kind of crystal and seems to see right through you. When Drake is gone, he leaves Kestrel in charge, and it rules the band through fear of the unknown as much as anything.
