TEAM ROLE: backup rusher/catcher

Tiny but plucky, Veronica has carried on her family's seafaring traditions as a crew member on the Death's Head. She's not much good in a fight, but her speed and dexterity serve her well as a skill player. She's also one of the smartest team members, with a particular talent for navigation.

Veronica is terrified of Blood Bowl -- it's the kind of game where tiny players like her get squashed. She likes to avoid conflict on the field, and desperately wants to return to the sea, where she can contribute as a navigator and archer rather than having to get pushed around.

Since a serious injury has forced her to retire from Blood Bowl, she's taken up a career as an assistant coach, using her encylopedic notes on opposing teams and their tendencies. When her ideas get through to Cap'n Sandflea, usually through her old pal Rollo Foghorn, they can actually make the team semi-competitive.

Veronica has become romantically involved with Jimbo Shortbarrow, the team's head thief and saboteur. this fact has aroused the jealousy of teammate Sallie Seagrass.
