Usually the Browns produce run of the mill blood, good enough for an evening with friends, but nothing more than that. Once in a while an exception comes along though, and this 18yo A positive is a noticable one. Lacking the usual sour taste that comes with a Brown, she instead embodies all that makes for a perfect A Positive.

Initially quite cerealy on the nose, sweet, with vanilla and lemon yet significantly phenolic. Passion develops with exposure to air, and there is a profound roasted note. Very sweet and smoothly intense on the palate, where lemon can again be detected, followed by spices and pepper. The finish is smooth, long and passionate, but with a peppery prickle.
