<h5>The Blood Castle Guardians are the residents of Blood Castle, a feared isolated castle on a peak overlooking the local lands. The bloodthirsty tales that have emerged over the years about the castle and it's inhabitants have been used to terrify many a generation of local children.

Such is the reputation of Blood Castle in recent times, many visitors have come to the area to witness how the brooding fortress dominates the skyline and the minds of those that live under it's shadow.

Once these lands were popular for more pleasent reasons, Lord Russo and his soldiers were avid Bloodbowl players, and were famed far and wide for their success in the amateur tournys. Teams would come far and wide to play against such noble opponants as those that resided in Fairweather Peak as the castle used to be known.

Late one night the beloved Lord Russo was visited by a wealthy noble in a blackened coach, and from that night on he was never the same. Rumour has it that he was duped into receiving his guest by a false introduction. The guest was a notorius Vampire, Ludwig the Black, and he aspired to ruin the reputation of another great noble of the kingdom. Lord Russo's behaviour soon became infamous rather than famed, and the Castle was avoided at all costs.

Over time the still Bloodbowl-mad Blood Castle Guardians established a new reputaion for themselves, by playing new Blood Bowl teams that were not aware of the fearsome reputation of the Castle's inhabitants. They soon became a great team once again!!</h5>
