| <b><u> One of Arctaeus' "Big 4 Teams"</b></u> The Whitebeard Warriors were first established around 8 years ago, their names taken from the colour of their beards. In their first season they achieved a resepectable 4th position in the league, out of a total of eight teams. It was during their second season that the Warriors fully established themselves in the world of Blood Bowl. An excellent season in which they finished league runners up as well as reaching the final of the Chaos Cup. During this season they continually pleased the fans with their ability to injure players during a Blood Bowl Game. For their first two seasons, the White Beard warriors were the top team in the league for "casualties per game" However, the Warriors' success ended during the third season. A shocking 4-0 defeat in the Chaos Cup quarter final to the Lizardman team (who went on to win the cup), combined with a 5-0 rout at the hands of a Wood Elf team saw the Warriors fall apart. The star blitzer was poisoned, and subsequently killed, by the vengeful Undead team who the warriors beat in the second round of the chaos cup. One of the two troll slayers came to an untimely end at the hands of the wood elf treeman, and the other slayer changed careers and became an assistant coach to the Dwarf Giants. At this point, the team was disbanded and the players went their seperate ways, a number of them moving down to the minor leagues to continue playing. The new head coach felt that the time was right to rebuild the team, and he scouted the minor leagues looking for players he felt were right for a new Whitebeard Warriors team. He built the team based on the structure of the original Warriors, with a single runner in the team. The Whitebeard Warriors enjoy a good brawl, even more so than any other Dwarf team. In fact, sometimes they ignore the opposing team member that is about to score, and instead focus on injuring those players who were foolish enough to stand within the short reach of a dwarf fist. <u>Current objectives:</u> 1) Build the team up with a good solid core. 2) Keep causing casualties <b> Ongoing </b> 3) Take part in the FUMBBL minors. 4) Get 5 ranked games unbeaten <b> Achieved </b> <u>Current player levelling results</u> 6 skill rolls (1 double) <u>Dead List:</u> Torho Ironsnapper, rookie Blitzer. Played a single game and was cruelly punished by a Mummy who played for the undead team "Bugaboos", and then raised by the Necromantic Head Coach. The undead team sadly retired before vengeance could be wrought. His death will not be forgotten. <u> Current Streaks:</u> <b> 5 Games undefeated. 18th December 2007</b> |
