| In times of peace, the Knighthood grow restless. The harvests are rich and the peasants are content, while the Orcs are too busy warring amongst themselves to threaten the Empire. To stave off boredom, and keep their fighting skills sharp, a group of knights founded the Stormberg Blades. The positionals are made up of proven warriors and members of the local court. Falconers take the position of throwers, Squires the catchers, and knights naturally take the place of blitzers. The linemen are drawn from the local household troops and are expected to do little more than die on the line of scrimmage. (Without spilling their blood on the armour of the knightly blitzers!) Arrogant and elistist, how will the Blades far in the cut throat world of professional Blood Bowl? |
