The Vampire heroes of Biting Nails are working hard to fight stereotypes about their race, as they feel inadequately represented. Sure, some Vampires avoid crosses and sharpened bits of wood, but an almost equal amount regularly cook with garlic or wear silver (plated) jewellery. In fact, if you discount that they never show up on team photos, and sometimes need a little nibble on a fan in the crowd, they're more like super-powered humans and just want to be your friend. The Biting Nails home stadium has a special pitch-side section called the Pit, where fans pay a little more than the regular ticket price, to get up close and personal with the team members and lend a helping hand (neck) when the blood lust sets in. Tickets for the Pit are only sold to people who have had their blood tested, after it became apparent that opposing teams were sending false fans with communicable diseases. |
