Owner: Gilgorod Head coach: Grishnak Ironjaw Race: Orcs Team colours: Major: green Minor: red Gilgorod's Tribe For centuries greenskins have been knocking on the eastern gate of the Empire, only to be thrown back behind the World's Edge Mountains after yet another failed invasion. Under the violent leadership of the Ironskinz, orcs from the Desolation of Drakenmoor have been launching raid upon raid through the Peak Pass into Ostermark and Sylvania. But to no avail. Every time the greenskin hordes would eventually tear up themselves, as a result of bitter infighting and lack of direction. But one night Gilgorod, a brutal orc blessed with a low cunning rare for his kind, stumbled upon what proved to be an abandoned bloodbowl pitch. Gilgorod had been wandering off from the rest of the tribe, contemplating yet another raid on the 'ummies. Not sure what exacly he'd discovered, he picked up a swollen swine bladder left behind on a giant slab of granite. He stared at the curiuos object for a while, eventually sniffed at it and wondered what the thing represented, but he had no clue. After uselessly wandering around a little more to inspect the strange rectangular shape of the granite slab he'd stumbled upon, Gilgorod decided to take a nap. Perhaps a vision would enlighten him. No vision came, but some time later Gilgorod was woken by enthusiastic shouts and cheering coming from the direction of the slab. He decided to find out what was going on. To his surprise he spotted a bunch of dwarfs dressed in armor but without weapons smashing into one another and running around with what looked like the swine bladder he'd picked up earlier. The stunties seemed to have a great time and more cheering followed when one of the lads run the bladder over the line near the end of the slab. Gilgorod didn't understand at once what he'd been watching, but he somehow felt that he'd found the answer to the failed raids he'd been participating in for ages. Now he and his tribesmen would conquer the world tossing around the swollen swine bladder. He would instruct his fellow orcs and then conquest would finally start in earnest. Time for Gilgorod's Tribe to rule the world!
