As dark elf society revolve around their prime interests: sex, drugs and inflicting pain through torture, it is natural that the most popular careers among the evil elvenkind are as a chemist or as a Blood Bowl player! Some even find time and have the versatility to work in both of these areas and the players of the Drugstore Cowboys are proof of that! In fact, several of the dark elven pharmaceutical corporations support a Blood Bowl team of their own and this has given rise to a semi-professional league on the Naggaroth continent, entirely consisting of such teams. In addition of competing on the harsh bioscience market, now employees of rivalling companies meet on the field and single it out as bitter enemies. In the case of the Drugstore Cowboys (owned by Rakarth Holding Ltd. and coached by Odium Khan, former ace linebacker of the famous Darkside Cowboys), many players are graduates from the Har Ganeth football college who have been offered positions as test subjects at the plant only to be eligible to be fielded on the team. They have always been ranked high in the pharma-league and now take the field at FUMBBL to compete in the official FUMBBL tournaments! On 03-08-2012 I started playing Ranked again, after a three year hiatus. This team will need a LOT of trimming in order to be a good force after going from LRB4 to CRP, but they have a few +AGs to build on and a healthy stack of block linos, so let's see where they are in 20 games time. Some players will have to go in order to reach an efficient TV, but I reckon injuries will take care of that problem for me. On 26-08-2012 I entered them to XFL and got promptly knocked out in the first round. I had no tackle or guard at the time being, having misunderstood when the tourney started and thinking I would have plenty of time to get prep games in. There's always a next time. I was not going to do it... But after reading a roll call by PainState I applied this team to the Fumbbl Cup XI on 31-10-2012, hoping to help breaking the Fumbbl record in tournament size. The Cowboys managed to win one game against CPOMBination, much thanks to a fireball that struck down five out of five in the opposing cage, then came up short against This Stinks. This was more than I expected out of this lot (still not had any prep games), will try again in the future.
