Cursed of Osrage
Laignech Faelad was a powerful Lord but a cruel tyrant to his people. He and his knights and retainers savaged the land like a pack of wolves. As a punishment, a powerful sorceror priest cursed them to shape shift; the Lord as a wolf, the knights as bears and the retainers as cats.

The curse meant Faelad lost his seat of power and him and his band were driven out in the wilderness. To survive they found a new arena where they could use their prowess: Blood Bowl.
