When your options are limited to mind rotting tedium swabbing the decks or life threatening danger stealing eggs from feral helldrakes and the agonizing kiss of your captain's lash is never a distant memory, the prospect of facing down mutated beastmen, slobbering orcs and horrific undead for the sake of moving an inflated pig's bladder from one end of a field to the other has a certain appeal. At least it did when the crew of the Laiva Riel mutinied and tossed their captain to his watery grave. Now that they're living the hard knock life of wandering Blood Bowl players, it's too late for second thoughts. Whether their fate is obscurity or timeless glory, these wind blown sea dogs will find it on the pitch.
