The Bahaal Butchers are a team formed from different tribes in the Bahaal Canyon region. They were formed out of a necessity for exploration of other lands in order to satisfy a hunger for new meats kindled by the young Ogre prodigy Halgh, who has small following opposing the She-Ogre Shalkuu, who believes being the top of the food chain is enough to be pure and strong. Shalkuu has lent guarded support, providing she is brought back bigger predators to eat, and Halgh's followers have been promised many varied and exotic meats. Rangor Irongut is the head coach. He was chosen because he is the only Ogre Halgh could find who has played Blood Bowl before, a long time ago in Ryder's Cove. Rangor and Halgh have recruited what they think are a good representation of the tribes of Bahaal, those most willing to travel, and those most suited to the game.
