Midwinter - longest night of all. When the sun sets and won´t rise again the tide of dark magic reaches it´s climax. Once in every aeon, an eclipse darkens the short day between the longest nights and gives rise to some of the finest dark elven blood ever seen. To celebrate the birth of the future lords of darkness, the City of Naggaroth falls into a blood-spilling frenzy called the neverending night. The festival of the neverending night was held withing the inner palace of Naggaroth, when the witch queen started the cermony of the blood. Every prisoner and condemned slave was forced to fight in the pits beneath the city. 7x7x7 teams were formed, each containing 13 players and playing for the ultimate goal: freedom After each touchdown, every team was allowed to kill one of the opposing players and after each match the winners ranks were filled up with the best opponents, while the rest were slain. This bloody ritual was the birth of a team of nameless prisoners who fought their way up into the final. When they finally reached the last game, they faced a team of elite warriors of the queen. Battered and beaten from the tourney, they fought for their lifes, but lost within the last seconds. Facing their execution, the managed to escape and formed the team named after their cruel birth: Midwinter No orcs, no chaos and no chaosdwarves can keep this team from scoring, so it became the proud winner of: <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=group&op=view&at=0&group=1275>The Ulthuan Invitational</a> As a prize, they recieved their magic gear. After 15 flawless game they got finally beaten by some pesky woodies... and the dice... and a good coach... |
