I thought it was about time that some hardcore ratz took to the field of BB. As such it leads me to the tale of the tenacious StormVermin under the name of the Warpstone Stormerz...

Grey Seer Snicket was lighting up a pipe full of warpstone snuff, trying to enjoy a less then relaxed afternoon at the University of Skavenblight. The reason for his snuff addiction and ruffled demeanor are one and the same...
Snicket was a gifted warlock of much potential and high standing in a very powerful clan, as such it was expected of him to go to the best institution in the Underworld. This was how Snicket found himself at the University of Skavenblight but against his will and especially his feelings towards self-preservation. For as with most things in Skaven society the strong survive and the weak don't, or specifically when dealing with rats, the sneakiest and most unscrupulous back stabbers make it to the top and spend all their lives trying to stay there, while all the others are left trying anything to usurp them!
Snicket was as clever and devious as the next rat, maybe even more so but, constantly having to watch his back and check his food for poison left him a little, shall we say un-nerved... Hence the snuff and paranoid disposition!
So as Snicket reclined in his favourite chair it became clear to him that he wanted to get out of the "rat race" ;) Then he realised he didn't always have to check over his shoulder, suddenly it all fell into place and his warp-fueled mind went into overdrive...
Snicket's personal guard of StormVermin and crack troops were well known at the University for playing a mean game of StreetBowl, often making a lot of money especially with their wily captain Skrint on the field and often causing a lot of blood and gore to be spilt when Skrint decides to unleash the teams fearsome Rat Ogre, Fangz. It had occurred to Snicket that right under his nose were the means for him to break free from his life at the University, he would take his guards and become their coach driving them hard across the Southern Wastes in search of glory, riches and prizes but above all enough fallen Warpstone meteors to fuel his habit and twist his players into even more powerful BloodBowlers!
