Grun's Nastyboys
Retired [A] Ogre

From the frozen north came a small band of ogres egar for plunder, a good fight and fame. Grun the Great, leader of the band, had a dream of statues, grandeur and to be the most renowned ogre of all time.

They came upon a small village in the north of Kislev, immediately they stormed into the village but to their great confusion no one was around. But there was a great deal of noise coming from the centre of the village. Grun sent one of his pet goblins forward to scout out the ruckus, when the goblin returned he was wide eyed and confused.

“Boss day’s is a bunch o’ orcs and a bunch o’ ‘oomies all prancin arownd in da middle of dis big crowed of ‘oomies and orcs, and day all be cheern and yelln wile day chases dis ball.” The small goblin, whose name was Basr, reported

“What!!” inquired Grun

“Onest boss” whimpered Basr “Go see.”

With a cursory wack for being stupid, and a “‘oomies and orcs dana get along.” Grun went with his band of brothers to see what poor Basr had seen. Sure enough in the middle of town there was a big crowd of both orcs and humans and they were all yelling and cheering.

Grun pushed his way through the crowd just as Varag Ghoul-Chewer made a startling blitz shattering the jaw of an ill fated lineman, receiving a pin point pass, and crossing the line in the dieing seconds to score the winning touch down. The Orcland Raiders fans went wild, screaming Varag, Varag, Varag, at the tops of their lungs.

Gruns words are reported to be “Dis is it, Dis is wat iv been lookn for.” He quickly approached Varag and got a run down of what was going on and how this game Blood Bowl worked. A few of Varag’s team mates and fans were a touch put out by the abruptivness of the ogre but weren’t too willing to argue with Grun and his band of heavily armed ogres and goblins no matter how few in number they were.

Thus Grun’s Nastyboys were born in to the great game of Blood Bowl.
