Against dwarves loaded with mighty blow. Team still undefeated though! :-)

Against a chaos team with a ST5, claw, razor sharp claw, block, tentacles monster of a chaos warrior. How did this happen, you ask? Well, on turn 8 of first half, with the ball secured by an elf at the chaos end zone and a huge wall of elves to protect him, a beastman makes multiple dodges to get there, blitzes and niggles the ball carrier. The crowd throws it out of reach, or is it? The troll reaches it with go for its, picks it up no problem, throws a long pass to a beastman, and the beastman then proceeds to go scoring with dodge and go for its! My turn 16 one-turn TD fails because i need one more push but CAS the guy instead. I score without problems at the start of second half. On turn 16, i run out of time and my ball carrier stays in contact with a player he shouldn't have. He gets killed (he was my best player with 40+ SPPs, block, dodge and guard), then they pick up the ball, hand it off and score for the 2-1 win. Congrats man! I'm more disappointed with the loss than with the dead star. I was really holding on dearly to that undefeated record!

First turn, dirty player badly hurt. Picking up something on the floor, and not wanting to make my opponent wait, i click "no" on the apo with my left hand. Big mistake! The mouse slips, and i click yes! Aaaargh! Two turns later, the same player gets -AV (and i wouldn't even have apothed that, he's not worth the trouble). Later on, a +MA blodge blitzer gets killed on a failed dodge! Now, THAT i would have apothed. Using my left hand cost me a +MA blitzer. And as if to spite me even further, Nuffle gives me a 1 on winnings and a FF decrease. Thanks Nuffle!

Against pro elves, who, as far as i can remember, on 15 armour passes did 4 stuns, 0 KO and 11 CAS. The best player on my team, a 35 SPP witch elf, died twice in this one.

Game 33 : +ST <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=4549968>thrower</a> ages and gets -AG
It's not often you'll see a -AG thrower stay on a team, but this one does. He's not a thrower anymore, that's all. It's ok though, because my other thrower also got a skill this game and now has accurate, strong arm and safe throw. Who needs a second thrower then?

Game 36 : <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=4541535>dead, dead, dead!</a>
Witch elf kills herself on double skulls, saved by apo. Later on a block, guard, dauntless line-elf kills himself on a failed dodge! I don't roll many doubles on this team, but those i get keep dying! Four doubles dead, only one remaining.

In the first 5 turns of the game, i rolled 3 double 1s, 1 double skulls, and failed 4 out of 6 dodge attempts (4 at 2+, 2 at 3+, all with dodge reroll). Later on in the game, my only thrower left on the pitch failed 3 bonehead rolls (duh, where am i?) in a row while trying to grab the ball with orcs swarming around him!

Game 45 : <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=4542080>Legolas</a> is a star!
With his 26th TD is 41 games, Legolas has just made it into the top 10 scorers amongst active dark elf blitzers!

Game 46 : <a href=http://fumbbl.com/help:SkillList>aging</a>
Aren't elves supposed to age slower than other races? I mean, Arwen was almost 3000 years old, right? On the skills page, it says that a player has 53.6% chance of getting to 51 SPPs without aging once. Well, i've had 5 players get there so far, and only one has made it through untouched by the passing of time. Am i wrong or is 20% a lot smaller than 53.6%?

Game 48 : virus, concession, Legolas gone, team ruined
All that aging meant i had 4 nigglings on my roster now. Another guy was MNG. Played against someone i was giving 3 handicaps to. He got virus and it wasn't me, taking out 5 of my players. I was left with 7 to start the game against an undead team. Looked up the rules for concession. 51+ SPP players have a 50% chance of leaving. I have 5 such players, but only 2 i care about. Both are on the field. I figure there's only a 33% chance of a permanent injury or death, so playing on is less risky than conceeding. In the first 3 turns, he gets 3 CAS, all serious injuries, and he niggles one of the 2 players i care about, twice! Now i've only got one 51+ SPP player left that i care about, and a bunch few 51. I figure my chances are now better if i conceed. So i do. I lose 3 of 5 possible players, including the only one still worth saving! It was Legolas, a dark elf blitzer with 28 TDs, sitting in 7th place of all active dark elf blitzers for TDs scored. Not much of a team left after this. I think i might just retire them. Lesson learned : don't give away any handicap when you have 4 niggled players. Especially don't give away 3!

Game 49 : last game
After the fiasco that happened the game before, i decided to play one last game before retiring the team. If the witch elf at 49 SPPs and the thrower at 50 SPPs could get a skill without aging, i'd keep the team. If not, i'd retire them. The witch didn't age, the thrower aged a niggle and a rookie witch aged at 6 SPPs (second time this happens). There's absolutely nothing in this team worth playing it. Time for something else!
