| In a match against Hommes des Arbres the crowd was angered by Thierry Grande Vitesse playing boring elf bowl, and invaded the pitch to punish him. Before order could be restored, they inflicted several casualties on the opposing team. Thierry Grande Vitesse escaped harm this time, and was even awarded MVP after the match! Witch elf Charlotte has sworn to deliver him to the crowd first chance she gets. Played the first match against a non elf team, coach Jakobs Orcs "Mash and Smash". Several players were injured during the first half - dispite trying to stay out of harms way. At half time the score was 1-1 and things did not look good. Benny Boomstick had tried to even out the numbers with fouls, but attracted too much attention - and ended badly hurt humself....The orcs started their drive in 2nd half, and it looked like a sure touchdown... But then a black orc dropped the ball. It was picked up and handed to Charlotte who ran towards the end zone. She stopped right before scoring, turned around and smiled to herself as the fouling began... In the first four games the fan factor increased 3! Whereever we play, our cult of fans follow!!! Playing "punishment of afterlife" was indeed a sad experience - it was not possible to break through the marching ranks of undead, and the match ended 1-2. Highlights were a perfect pass to charlotte who scored her 2nd touchdown after recieving a long bomb from Blackboard Syndrome. A lot of ekstra training after getting "bad habits" resulted in extra AG for Knight who says NI and Charlotte improved her speed. Fans abandonded us after this match. The match against "Corpses of DIKU" again showed the trouble we have with the undead when they do "the funeral march" down the field. A rock hit Giga Watt and he could not help guarding his teammates this match. In 2nd half Charlotte had her gut cut open but a quick effort from the apothecary saved her. Beatdown was the first khemri team we ever faced, and the 4 mummies did look very very scary in the beginnig. However the khemri ball handeling skills are awful, and the soon we realized that the only real threat is the blitz-ra. So we changed the game to classic elf bowl and the two blitz-ra spent a lot of time runnig around like chikens and trying to lay a hand on the ball carrier. Highlights were an impressive run by Blackboard syndrome, who dodged in, retrived AND passed the ball - right under the noses of two mummies! The blitzer Sotek Souldash joined the team, and charlotte finally learned to block. Runic Rolling Stones proved very troublesome with their caging tactics. The death list is now altered to 1. Rolling Runic Stones Ogre 2. TGV In the future, the fouling is the way to go against cages. Pick them off one by one. |
