A great call went out across the dark mountains, the void called upon its faithful to bring blood and chaos to the fields of battle. Only the greatest and strongest could answer the Call of the Warp. Mutants and monsters of all types arose to work for the great chaos, crawling forth from hellmouths and void-pits drawn from mankinds worst nightmares. These monstrosities left across the land, and 1 week later a few bands of misinformed skaven finally climbed the great mountain to greet the warp, only to find it had left without them.

Most of the Skaven merely turned around and went home; those too cowardly to do so began to look for a new leader. And there, broken and bruised in a pit of rocks crawling with snakes and oozing purplish goo, they found one. The once great mage Makla reduced to ravenous ramblings and madness was adopted as their war leader. Makla knew carnage unrivaled in only one place (indeed, in his insanity, he'd forgotten every other place he'd ever known about): The fields of Nuffle. Makla gathered his forces, 11 strong and brave (or stupid) ratlings and together they paved their way to the very hall called home by Chaos, the fortress of Agholi. There they met their like minded kin, and together brought the bounty of Chaos to the worlds of weak flesh.

After two games with a weak showing, Makla realized that a team composed of the lowest of the low of Skaven society wasn't going to be good enough. He needed some force. He quietly went to make a house call on his cousin Ernie, world renowned body builder and all-around good guy. Makla always hated that bastard, and so he cast a few spells from a tome covered in crazy fungii and Viola, Ernie became a raving Rat-Ogre ready to cause chaos and carnage in the name of Makla (and remember, for Makla's MadRats, only the craziest will suffice, that's why we drink bloodweiser. It's the craziest of beers).

Realizing that his team wasn't quite potent enough, Makla again went out to recruit. This time, he quietly snuck into the bedroom of his eight year old neice. He slowly crept up on her bed and pulled the covers away from her chest, revealing his prize... her white lab rat, snowflake. Makla grabbed the house pet and replaced it with a stuffed bunny and a note from the rat fairy, then hurriedly ran back to the nesting place of his crew to outfit this newest linerat.
