Verezzo Blue Runners

The leaders of Verezzo's Blue Party were very annoyed lately. For one thing, there were constant Skaven raids from the sewers, hurting the wealth of the population. For another, the sports performance of their teams has been on the record low point. After some long and hard thinking, the council had a light-bulb moment: what if they divert the ratmen's agression by inviting them to participate on their sports teams? Expenses would be lower compared to paying humans, the standings will improve due to Skaven's innate knack for sports, and the raids would stop - in Blue districts, that is.

After some time the deal was struck, and more and more Skaven were included in the Blue teams on the various games. The Blue rankings steadily grew, as did the income of the sponsors - and who cares about some anti-rat grumbling from the fans? After the success with other, lesser, games, the Blue party has achieved its next ambition: forming a whole Grindball team. Introducing - Verezzo Blue Runners!

History

Preparing for their first big event - CAS tournament 2, they flexed their muscles with a respectable 1/1/1 record. In the tournament, they have reached the final match, but lost it to Valen's Town Hall Tavern, which rattles them severely.

Vendettas

Kalbaz holds a vendetta against Danny Pie, for smashing his ankle during a big (and game-deciding!) scrum for the ball during the final match of CAS2. (Chunk was involved in the process too, so we won't forget him as well.) Update: vendetta is no longer applicable as Danny Pie has cowardly fled the Tavern's team.

Dorg owes one to Ottavio De Grassi for smashing his knee in the last turn of game 2 of season 4. (Uranio Amadei, who knocked Dorg out earlier, and who was holding his arms while Ottavio was doing his foul thing, is not forgotten either.)

The team as a whole hates Alessandria Titans for excessive violence caused in game 4 of season 4.
