Sir Ian Terence Botham OBE (born 24 November 1955) is a retired England Test cricketer and Test team captain, and current cricket commentator. He was a genuine all-rounder, and remains well known by his nicknames "Beefy" and "Guy the Gorilla".

Pipe Smoker of the Year: 1988

Blood Bowl Accomplishments:

11/08/07: After a fine first 5 games and an impressive 2 touchdown performance against Nehekharan Incantations he falls foul to a nasty injury and loses some of his formerly world renowned toughness. The Smoker's lead spokesman, the retired Harold Wilson, said, "We plan to stick by Ian through this rather tough time for him. He has impressed in his first few games for the club and we are committed in developing him into a player of the calibre of Smoker's all time top scorer Jimmy Greaves."

Rod Hull (13 August 1935 - 17 March 1999) was a popular entertainer on British television in the 1970s and 1980s. He rarely appeared without Emu, a mute, highly aggressive arm-length puppet of such a bird. He died after falling from the roof of his house, whilst trying to adjust the TV aerial in order to get a better picture.

Pipe Smoker of the Year 1968

Blood Bowl Accomplishments:

21/02/07 - After the 3-1 loss to Clan Mac Feegle he appears to have strained his knee ligaments in such away that the injury has actually increased his speed. It is thought the injury occured whilst he was throwing his second completion for the Pipe Smokers (he was also rewarded with the MVP for his valiant efforts). Doctors around the world are baffled.

23/02/07 - Gained the MVP award during the Smokers 1-1 draw with Something is Rotting to gain his second skill in as many games. The Smoker's fanzine starts listing him as the suprise hot prospect of the season and everyone is expectant of this boy in the future.

11/08/07 - Becomes the first Smoker to reach 40 Spp with an MVP touchdown performance in the 3-1 victory over Nehekharan Incantations.
