It wasn't a great match for poor Gits by any standard when they faced the Skaven of rattenrace, but Gorgnash's performance was good enough to warrant him the MVP for the match. If only some of the hits he handed out during the match would have been strong enough to get players out of the match permanently instead of just knocking them out the end result of the match might have been completely different as well.

Gorgnash clearly has a habit of coming to his own in matches where the rest of the team isn't performing on their standard level of aptitude. This aspect of his performance came into the fore in a disappointing performance against the chaos dwarf team of Lobotomized, where the team failed to achieve much of anything, but Gorgnash decided to leave their hobgoblin Zorba the Greek with something to remember him by with a crushing hit that fractured his skull into tiny pieces for their team apothecary to patch back together.

Gorgnash finally brought up a killer performance in a match where the rest of the team delivered as well in a recent match against the chaos dwarves of Pathos, where he leveled such a hit on their blocker Hamlet that he was unable to continue playing in the very first moments of the first half. It was a brutal hit that showed up on many highlight reels of the matches of the week.

He continued his bloodbath in a recent match against the ogres of Tonei, where he smashed their snotling Ghetto Piling On into a broken heap in the early moments of the first half. Sadly the rest of the team returned to form, proving unable to capitalize on their strength against their diminutive opponents and losing in a humiliating landslide 3-0.

The team found itself once again in dire straits when they met the chaos pact of 1337 Roxxors whose star minotaur left the team in shambles. Gorgnash delivered one of the few highlight reel blocks of the evening when he smashed their marauder Haxx0r into a tiny pile around the midpoint of the second half.

With a brutal losing streak going on the team was once again on the receiving end of a beating when the skaven of Anti-Terrier Squad came on the field and delivered a truly stunning performance with several astonishingly quick goals from their star gutter. Gorgnash left his mark on the team though, delivering a crushing blow on their lineman Trey Truewing in the late stages of the match that left him a wreck.

The match was pretty much over when Grimurk woke from his slumber and dealt out a highlight reel-worthy block on Rattenrace's star gutter runner snelle rat, but that doesn't take away from its absolute brutality. Snelle rat had to be carried off the pitch with several broken bones, although skaven alchemy should have him back on his feet soon enough. Still, it brought a great cheer from among the crowd and for a good reason, if Grimurk could deliver such hits earlier in the game, he would turn from a reliable blocker into a potential star player.

Grimurk had been suffering from a horrible drought after taking a strong hit that severely impaired his mobility. He was struggling even to pull his weight for the team and the whole team suffered for it. Then, out of nowhere, he pulled a bone-crushing hit on one of the ogres of Tonei in the opening moments of the match that left him unable to continue playing. After that, sadly, it was back to mediocrity for him as he continued his lackluster performance and he didn't contribute much.

Glumrot came out with a vengeance in the season opener against the Nurgle team of IDH-YAA Crawlers that consisted of several great hits on their players. The one that ended up on the highlight reel for the match was his hit on their rotter Nyarl-Yughath that hit him on the head with such force it smashed his knee right out. This, coupled with his stellar performance on other areas of the pitch, earned him the MVP for the match and fans are eagerly waiting for what he will do next.

He certainly took his sweet time to do it, but Glumrot finally returned to form with a crushing hit on chaos team Chaos Crickets warrior blocker Arnold Schwarzenegger at around the midpoint of the first half. The hit left him unable to continue in the match, but he is expected to make a full recovery in time for their next match, their apothecary reports.

Again it certainly took him his sweet time to continue, but Glumrot finally came to the fore in a match against the ogres of Tonei that left two of their snotlings lying around the pitch in broken piles of bones and skin. As he is nearing veteran status with the other black orcs the question is rather when, not if, he will be among the first.

With the unfortunate death of team blitzer Varbolg Elfmangler still weighing heavily on the team it was Urgrot Dwarfsmasher who decided to exact vengeance. He delivered a massive hit on the vampire team Bronxington Bloodhounds thrall Puppy that left his hipbone in tiny pieces.

Urgrot continued his rampage in the following match against the Chaos team of Dark Suns of Ad'az where he ripped the horns and most of the skull out of their star beastman Jigsaw with a crunching hit in the second half. Jigsaw was carried off the pitch on a stretcher and buried soon thereafter.

Like most of the team, Urgrot took a vacation in the match against the chaos dwarves of Lobotomized where he failed to achieve much of anything during the whole match. When the rest of the blockers of the team were pulling their weight it looked like Urgrot would do the same in the match against Chaos Crickets but things certainly took a turn for the strange when he found himself getting a beauty of a pass from a visiting journeyman and ran off to score in a daze. As was to be expected, he slipped just on the threshold of the endzone, but the rest of the team bought him enough time to just get up and pick the ball and struggle over the line to score the face-saving first goal of the team in two games. An interesting play that certainly left an impression on both the home and away fans.

As all the media attention that his touchdown created finally quieted down, Urgrot returned to his typical form in the match against Pathos where he left their hobgoblin Fredrick Dirtybone without a jaw after an especially brutal hit.

Jump Up
Mighty Blow
With the whole hopes of the team for drawing the match resting on Glumrot's shoulders he was sadly taken down by rattenrace's lineman in a desperate blitz. As it became clear for the fans that there was no way for Gits to equalize the game they started leaving their seats and heading home. This, coupled with the fact it was his weakness that had doomed the team, dropped a red haze in front of Glumrot's vision and he jumped up and dealt a horrendous blow on their gutter runner snelheidsrat. It smashed the poor creature's hand apart and only their team apothecary was able to patch it back together into something resembling an arm.

When his team needed it in the match against the Dark Suns of Ad'az, it was Glumrot Foespike that came to the fore and delivered, with a stunning blitz that took out their beastman, followed up by picking the ball up and running for the endzone, culminating in a beautiful touchdown that tied the game.

After a small drought he returned to form with a beautiful hit on 1337 Roxxors goblin that left him without much of a neck to speak of and precipitated his retirement from the sport. The rest of the team did it's best to achieve similar success, with rather mixed results.

It had been a while since Glumrot had made the highlight reel but when he returned, he returned with a vengeance, leveling two of the skaven team Anti-Terrier Squad's out with crushing blows and capping it off by earning the MVP for the match. Especially important was the crushing blow in the early stages of the second half against their veteran lineman Trey Dirtstream that left him unable to continue at all.

Badok finally made the highlight reel in his third match of the season when he delivered a great counter-block on Bronxington Bloodhounds player Huskie that would have left him unable to continue in the match if he wasn't a vampire and thus possess great powers of rapid regeneration. Still, the hit was a beauty, leading into Huskie leaving the pitch with a twisted knee, broken collarbone and a bent shoulder. How Badok managed to do this in one blocking motion will surely puzzle both physicians and fans for the foreseeable future.

Badok proved true to his name with a stunning display of dodging in the first half. The fact this dodging wasn't anything that the coach wanted didn't take anything away from the acrobatics involved and it, together with a pretty strong performance overall, ended up earning him the MVP for the match. It was a good showing of his versatility and hopefully just the first of many.

With a team that underperformed on a horrible level it was to be expected that the flashiest player would end up getting the MVP for the match. So it came to be that Badok ended up nabbing it in the disaster of a match against the chaos dwarf team of Lobotomized. Luckily he didn't leave to rest on his laurels but went on to deliver a brutal hit on Chaos Crickets blocker Dolph Lundgren II that left him with a broken neck and hugely impaired mobility.

Badok was at it again in a match against Pathos, where he played a strong all-round performance in assisting, blocking and tackling capped off with a beauty of a hit on their star bull centaur, Romeo, that left him unable to continue in the match. It was this beauty of a hit where he leaped on his back before smashing his face to the dirt that earned him the MVP honors for the night.

When you put snotlings against orcs you know it will be a bloody and brutal match. Gits proved it in a match against Tonei where Badok ended up bagging their veteran snotling Toe's scalp with a brutal hit. Sadly it wasn't enough to inspire the team to perform at the level that would have been required to win.

He continued his rampage in the match against 1337 Roxxors that led to him first smashing the jaw of one of their marauder linemen into pieces and followed it up with a devastating low blow against their star minotaur N00b, thus exacting small vengeance for the life of his teammate and fellow blitzer Glumruk Axehewer. He stomped on the minotaurs face with such force it left him without much of a face and kept on stomping as the referee came to throw him off the pitch to the cheering of the home fans. As the lifeless body was carried off the pitch he threw up his signature pose and stopped roaring only when he saw that their team apothecary had managed to patch the minotaur together, albeit with a damaged back.

Badok was clearly steaming from his banning from the last outing and returned with a vengeance, smashing apart three of the skaven players from the team Anti-Terrier Squad during the match. Especially brutal was the hit on their emerging gutter Looney that left him with a pinched nerve and an extended stay at the hospital.

Gorlud Toechewer finally emerged on the highlight reel in his seventh match for the team with a beauty of a touchdown in the match against the skaven of Anti Terrier Squad. It was a late score and had no chance whatsoever to actually turn the situation around, but it was still a pleasant surprise to the team and fans who had pretty much forgotten about him.

Ludzog has been one of the strong all-round performers of the team, doing nothing flashy, but doing everything that is required when needed. This has turned him into something of a cult hero to the most ardent fans who maintain that the team would be much weaker without him working in the background. The jury seems to agree, having honored him with two MVPs during the season. Still, he is the master of under-statement, having made the highlight reel only once for something else besides assisting in a block being thrown by one of his flashier teammates: a crushing hit on Pathos' hobgoblin that left him unable to continue in the match.

Fans and the community in general saw something completely new in Ludzog in a match against the chaos pact team of 1337 Roxxors. His friends had told the press when asked that he has a mean streak, but it still took everyone by surprise how badly he took the damage caused by their their minotaur. He took to the field, showing off his kicking skills in a most unique fashion toward anything that was on the ground and wore the colors of the away team, leaving two of their players unable to continue in the match and kicking their skaven player in the tender regions so hard that he will be in recovery for quite a while. Vengeance exacted indeed.

When the recent match against Chaos Crickets began many of their fans expected their star blitzer beastman Hammerer to continue doing what he does best and brutally smash opposing players to pieces. He started the match doing just that, smashing Bort so hard that it actually managed to reach all the way into his thick skull and stun him. When Bort recovered he saw him piling on yet another player to smash him senseless, but thankfully when he next came up he wasn't yet ready to jump his next victim with the focus of the game on a blitz at a completely different flank. This gave Bort his opening and he took it, smashing his claw so hard with his block that it smashed it in pieces and left him unable to continue in this match and with a long recovery period to boot. Hopefully he will continue delivering hits like that in the future.

It took a while, but he returned to form with a crushing hit on Jumping squad's linefrog that left him unable to continue playing. After the nap he took after that it became clear that he is one of those players that only delivers in rare bursts of activity. He suffered through a match recently where he stood dazed and confused for well over half the match, but followed it up with a great performance against the chaos pact of 1337 Roxxors that ended up earning him the MVP honors for the match.
