After coming back to BB after awhile, refreshing myself with the rules, figuring out the tech aspects, putting together a team and then playing first match and having a player die and another get crippled so easily I was initially somewhat disheartened.
Into the bin! I thought. But that would of been the easy way out and a total lack of respect for those that did survive.
It then struck me...This was pure Darwinism in action. The strong would survive and the weak would be picked off. Bashy teams in their own way would be only making my team stronger by separating the wheat from the chaff.
So with this mad delusion in mind, I find myself comfortable in playing against all and any comers. Yes players will die, but such is the nature of life...and er..Blood Bowl.
