1 game 6 skills
Proverbial Amateurs sees six players gain a skill after this match against We are Humans. 5-1 after a game with plenty spite-fouling (which I didn't really mind, especially with no harm done hehe).

It started out with me green-lighting practically every game in the gamefinder (I misclicked once, wasn't even against a chaos team!) so I was expecting a heavy loss both in touchdowns and players on my team (I had several teams ready, including skaven) against some legend player's chaos team.

So all in all pretty happy because games like these have to make up for the uglier ones right?

Skills:
Time Wounds All Heels rookie blitzer gets a normal skill. =Dodge
Ignorance Is Blitz rookie blitzer gains a double. =Guard
Love All, Trust me dodge catcher gains a normal skill. =Block?
A Miss Is as Good as a Mr. rookie thrower gains 6+4 =+MA!
Adds Fire to the Fuel rookie lino gains a double. =Guard too?
Every Day Has a Dog gains a normal skill. Block or Wrestle?

The last one probably depends on if I'll fire the niggled Wrestle catcher The Green Is Grasser.

I'll have a look at some of the "pro" Elf teams to see what kind of skills they're dodging around with.

you are correct on all counts wrestle on the lino, helps against blodge players.

I might go MB on the blitzer with doubles. Elves with a bit of hitting power do pretty great.

yeah but I've noticed that most advice on doubles on non-S teams are very Pratchetlike: GUARD! GUARD! GUARD!

MB on any blitzer is good, but the lack of guard and the synergy with sidestep dictate guard it seems. But I'm tempted indeed.

It's the best general advice. The specific case though, a MB blitzer (with Tackle next) really helps control crowds. If you make 25-30 blocks in a game, if 10 of them are with one guy, it's a good deal.

If you'd had a catcher with doubles, MB would be a clearer choice, since as you point out, the blitzers get great synergy with A access and free SS.

you want MB on your catchers if they get doubles. The blitzers arent actually blitzers in a pro elf team, they are Blockers, and Ag4 blodge SS Guard is amazing!!!!!

There's a FUMBBL badge for skilling up 5+ players in one match:

Just in case you care. :-)

And congratulations on the skill-ups and the good rolls! :-)
