Okay, the match scheduled for the FUMBBL CUP has just ended, and those dwarves deafeated the Slaughterhouse Gang only 1-0. I can say the honor is safe, they were really strong. They all got guard, almost all mighty blow, piling on and an evil deathroller that magnetized the poor Morg, stuck to it in the desperate attempt to send it out of the pitch. The Slaughterhouse start was furious: in the first two turns two dwarfs bit the dust, injured by crazy, berserking marauders and a raging minotaur obviously too big to be scared of little midgets. 15 excited Followers of the Impossible Victory (by the way: thanks to you all!) cheered for this heroic effort to reduce the opponent's firepower, as the beautiful, blodger, AG5 Dust Ghost started the run of his life towards the touch down. I minimized their guards trying to divide them, but then they started to hit like drunken blacksmiths and things got bad. They approached the ball carrier, sent out the troll and the ogre, then the minotaur, and Morg was still there trying to kill the deathroller, unsuccessfully. I planned the desperate strategy: suicidal rush of Dust Ghost, pass to the rat, dodge and TD in the last turn, but made a mistake. The elf was hardly stricken by someone apparently devoid of aesthetic sense and fell out of the pitch, in the death chain that followed the heroic Bad Bob got a destroyed leg and loses his AG4. The drive ended 0-0. The minotaur didn't recovered from KO in spite of the bloodweiser girls, but got the cell number of one of them.

Second half was ugly. With only Morg and other 6 players on the pitch I couldn't outline a decent defense, and their runner rushed quietly towards the TD. I tried all I could: one dice blitzs, two dices-down blocks, impossible dodges, but nothing could stop that fast ball of armored fat from reaching the limit of the pitch and stall until the last turn. So it ended, and my compliments to my opponent, who has a very tough team, hope the best for him. Now the Slaughterhouse Gang will recover from this beating, and then you will see those guys again, maybe in the next tournament and with more skills. Thanks to you all. Nuffle bless you!
