If I were...
Harad's interesting thread "If wou had to win" got me thinking, so here is little survey:
Ask yourself:
"If I were to play the best blood bowl coach in the world at a random tv between 1000 and 2000, and I had to squeeze at least a tie out of it, what would be the absolute worst team for me to face no matter what *I* bring to the table?"
I know that's a broad question, but try to name a single race if you can.
Mine is "wood elves", but I'm curious to know what the community thinks.

At those TV ranges for me I would hate to face Chaos Dorfs as given that situation that would prob be the team I would take and in a mirror match vs the best coach in the world, given that our rosters would prob be at least similar then coaching skill would be the deciding factor and they are as you said the best in the world so would prob be a (Slightly) better coach than me.

Any version of Elves. I can beat the bash teams consistently, however I don't get to play the elves as often and therefore fail much more against them. But if I had to name 1 it would be a tough one, but likely Wood Elves

At low TV and in good hands they can almost bring to the pitch what Dorfs bring - without suffering their drawbacks (which - without G- can actually become very obvious against high ST or MA teams).
Probably makes some sense. But also i just dont do good against them nor can i play them myself.
Numbers can only do so much. Personal preference plays a huge part.

As you formulated the question (good coach, tie is not your beater) it must be a speedy team. I think it is skaven as you can fail on many things. But woodies are also a good choice. The thing with orcs, cdorfs and dorfs is that the chance of a tie is quite big. Skaven may lose much more, but their win rate (I mean what is really won, and no tie) would be much higher.

The deciding factor comes down to OTT. You can play well and still fail to tie if the other coach pulls off a OTT at the end of either half.
