CLAWPOMB Blackbox makes up a significant portion of this site. And there is a major tournament for the guys who have fun CLAWPOMBing in Blackbox. Thats good. Blackbox at high TV isn't a good place for fluffy elf lovin or halfling square dances. We all get that by now. Everyone who tried to make the final without the powerful CLAWPOMB combo failed. Try again, try harder, or stop trying. But no reason to say anything remotely negative about a tournament being enjoyed by other people. All of our CLAWPOMB objections have been noted in great detail. And who is the "we" anyway? Does anyone stand by this troll and such negative comments?

Well done Jiger, that's a very nice looking box team. And gratz to Azure for the second major. He's on a roll.

Compete at this sort of TV in KO event; get combo. See it as not really BB and a bit of a lottery, don't. Easy choice, no knickers twisted. :)

It was a fun game JigerJones! Your dark elf is an awesome player - I was dreading what he could do - lucky the wizard did his job!

Irony is that folks complained that my team was non-competitive because I was using a Rat Ogre and did not have all 4 Gutter Runners. Now, folks claim it is just another clawpomb min/max team! Truth is you need to be able to bash, ball and position well. Neither team in the finals was one-dimensional - which made for an exciting game.

And Jigers CP has a non Cl/PO chaos troll....just a plain jane good for nothing troll. Atleast the Rat Ogre can do something.

Iam not concerned about the min/max of both the finalist. Both of them beat some really nice teams in their run to the finals. Got lucky when they needed it and survived. That is all that matters in the end.

The problem that the two finalist are running into is that a lot of coaches are very jaded about box. That it is the land of Min/Max and CPOMB. Both teams fall into that sterotype and thus some "heters" come out of the wood work. They ignore the acomplishment of winning 6 games in a row to face off in the final and just look at the team makeup and off they go on their box hate.

It was indeed a fun match Azure. I can understand people hate the whole clawpomb issue, and my team indeed had 3 such players. Don't really get the minmax stuff, but such is life. I was/am simply truly excited to get a team past the qualifier stage of a major.

Congrats to Azure. Well deserved win, great coach and well played.

And complaining about clawpombers in a major is a bit naive. It's good so people will use it, I'll always take the non-clawpomb side but still winning a major is about coaching ability too. Clawpomb is competitive as is elfing, i'd love it if there were more competitive combos for a major but I'm afraid that the table is rigged for clawpombers and elves. Not that the other teams are out of the major-race but they will always be challengers not the favorites to win. It is what it is, Bloodbowl, flawed but great fun.
