As many of you know I've been struggling for motivation in (to quote Goo) 'the burning dumpster fire of bb2020', but another Dome doesn't appeal in the current state of the game. However, now the major and minor schedule is back (and improved by Gauntlet) there's an opportunity to see who is the best tourney player of the year in 2024!

While I'm clearly favourite with my current total of 0 major wins, if the inconceivable happens and someone else wins there will be a physical prize for the winner TBA in a couple weeks after I've checked logistics.

I would anticipate:
~5 minors throughout the year
3 BBT ladders*
3 Gauntlet Majors*
~4 Traditional Majors
1 FUMBBL Cup

*Due to the nature of the BBT/Gauntlet cycle the first eligible tournament will be the January Gauntlet Major (so get your qualifying runs finished in this season's trophy) and the eligible BBT ladders will be the ones starting in Jan, May, Sept 2024. The Jan 2025 Gauntlet at end of Sept BBT will not count for points in POTY 2024 (but will count in 2025 if this returns), similar to how the Sept 2023 ladder that feeds the Jan 2024 Gauntlet doesn't score any points.
