I think the game will get a much needed face lift

I do not have very much experience with NAF but I'm sure the coaches are going to warm up to the new rules much faster than the coaches on a virtual arena. I don't know about everyone else but I am guilty of remembering some people by their team/teams, rather than their actual skill level or playstyle, but the coaches and countries themselves are more easily skill ratable in the NAF. (I want to know at least a little bit about what I am up against before I throw down with them on the pitch lol)
I prefer to play tournament games but there is a bunch of building and preparing to do before I can throw some of my teams in them. So if you are a Bash* coach and all I see on gamefinder are the same boring kill stack combos and you aren't over 75% with a proven strategy ..#Derrrrrr. I am just not very interested in that kind of game unless it is in a tourney ..I have paid my dues sacrificing (Team trimming) enough of my elves lol


I have made lots of players over 100 SPP and lots to Legend and all I can really say about a player getting to Legend is that it is mostly a pain in the ass going from 76 to 176 compared to the impact that final skill actually makes to that player. So, I have been scrolling through my teams and trying to imagine them dropped down to 1350'ish. In general, I usually have some kind of meta strategy going on with the skills my players have and how that works into my team. Picking who stays, who goes and who grows will take some time but I don't think I will rush into it with all my teams until I have tired it out on a few teams first and also have gotten to see how everyone else is doing things, of course lol

On top of the teams I have ..I will be testing out some of the ideas I have for maintaining low team value, while optimizing natural racial strengths. I am definitely more experienced playing in games over 1500TV, so these new rules will help me grow as a coach when it comes to lower team values.
