A Box Full of Money: Final Results!
The first ever Human League vs ARR fundraiser is complete! The result: A Box Full of Money! Participation was great on both sides, and we had a number of firsts - among them that we managed to get 8 Black Box Brawls drawn in one week with an overwhelming majority of ARR and Human teams in them! We even got JimmyFantasic to play ogres in the box, which is clearly a victory for the forces of all things just and good.
On to the numbers!
Sprints completed: 18 HLC + 8 HLP = 26
Backers: OenarLod, mrt1212, Bazakastine x2, The_Murker (HLP only)
Total multiplier for each sprint: x4 (with x5 for premier)
And $5 more from OenarLod for our "which group wins more brawl titles" wager.
Sprints completed: 41
Backers: happygrue, cdassak, Bazakastine x2, Azure, koadah (backed group with most sprints)
Total multiplier for each sprint: x6
Bonus money (put up by cdassak):
$10 for two new racial sprint records
$10 for a new ARR record
$20 for at least one coach sprinting with 4 or more races
And then those who pledged cash monies if Jimmy would sprint with Ogres:
cdassak - $25
happygrue - $5
PaddyMick - $5
thebursar - $15
Lorebass - 7$ ($1 for every Kill the Stud Mens do over 10 games
... and the final result is 4/4/8 with ogres and a total of $57!
The Final Count Up
Humanity has raised a total of $117! With all assorted bonus funds, ARR has raised a total of $343
And while a number of other coaches mentioned they would donate as a result of this, only two posted amounts, for another $20 total.
Putting all this together, the grand total is $480!
That's good news for FUMBBL! But there is even better news for FUMBBL: You have two days left to root around for loose change and get in on this! The backers who's names are listed above will get their names forever etched in our group page's hall of fame. And you will too if you PM me your matching pledge by Wednesday for HLP ($26) or ARR ($41)! You too can feel the pride of doing the right thing - keeping this site going.
