Better late than never
I've finally written up my thoughts on the NAF World Cup. Fancy a read? Here's an excerpt!

"...we arrived at the venue bright and early. It was easy enough to spot; all you had to look for were the Blood Bowl boards hanging out of people's bags. In Amsterdam cyclists have right of way; with bustle and bell they zip and zoom through streets and over pavements. Today, they had a new obstacle to contend with. Hundreds of coaches filled the street with a hubbub of international geekery."

Be warned: it's rather long.

Good read mate - very enjoyable!

Don't know you personally from the UK TT scene, but I'm sure I'll bump into you sooner or later.

For me, I had my worst ever TT tournament - results-wise that is. I'm not sure I've ever rolled so much rubbish, at the end of a tournament year of bad dice alround. While we all blame the dice, me especially!, I found myself losing some of the joy of playing after snaking to win in 3 games (one of them twice, in both halves!), and subsequently losing 2 of them from shenanigans.

Still, the event was truly awesome which actually completely made up for the results. Been a long time since I've laughed/enjoyed company/had such a riotous time - so much so I was off work for 10 days with a double infection and virus afterwards!

Glad to see a Brit doing well abroad!

Looks like an excellent event, I should go to one of these one day. (But would need to be in a team first of course). Great write-up Nazgob.

That's a great write-up, Mike :) Really thorough and very enjoyable :D It was nice to see some photos too.

Despite their name of Team Argentina, that team that finished second (by a point) were Danish. They finished second by the same margin in the first NAF WC :o
