4 Catchers: game 2
Ducks of Hazard 2 - 1 Mad Jesters

Second game, draw was a Chaos team with few skills, but three CW and a Troll. That's some serious muscle for a starting team, innit? They had 2 rerolls, so they weren't allowed many mistakes. I had more Block, I think. Basic tactics: mark the players without Block to drain rerolls on failed blocks (quite hard as two CWs already had Block), always defend aggressively and try for OTS if that fails.

First half, they receive and pretty much bulldoze through KOing most of my team. Turn 8 I set up for an OTS, hoping for touchback. The kick landed in my backfield so I did some punching, with good results, 3 cas at half time.

Most of my team came back, so I outnumbered them in second half. My receiving drive, I score comfortably although a bit too slow. Last drive, the ball landed in their back field so I defended aggressively by moving my team between the LOS and their ball carrier. Almost went wrong as they blitz through but fail their handoff. In the ensuing brawl for the ball their low RRs prove to be their downfall: early turnover and the ball went to my catcher who scored the winning TD.

Massively lucky match, and perhaps an easy draw as well. Their team was lacking but I thought Blackwidow play was solid.

Team development wise: gained FF (now FF6), lino gained Guard, and two blitzers ready to get a skill next match (at 4 and 5 spp). Match winnings were 70k, exactly one catcher - the team is on schedule. :)

Something off-topic: Soundtrack for this game was Jingle Bell Rock, sung by Bobby Helms, Aly & Aj, Hall & Oates, Hillary Duff, Kenny G, etc. My favorite is Billy Idol, he just has this maniacal look in his face as if he's about to flip out and burn down an orphanage any moment.

You would do better to put this in the match report, as you can only ever view your last 10 Blogs (although the rest do remain in the background).

You could still post them in both, but for your own sanity when looking back, it might make things a little easier for you (and others looking at your team)

Ah, I didn't know that. Thanks for the pointer.
