In the North of the world, in the corrupted lands of chaos a a very special tournaments takes place The infamous Gods of Chaos keep a close eye to the stars emerging in it. Here are they seeking for new champions!
It was discussed in mercenary ranks wether you can suffer mutation in it. Everybody are scarred of that tournament and it's a place for dirty playing and injurys. Teams comming back from Chaos Leagues are praised as belonging to the hardest team ever. Don't ask to enter here if you can't stand a strong game. It is the hardest league ever.
Every other race are scared only by hearing the name of the Chaos League.
Divided in Minor (0-150) and Major (151+), the rules favour brutal and dangerous play:
3/1/0 +2 par death you cause.
The winner of the chaos league can be watched by a God of chaos, to make it their protected team.
If Nurgle protects you, you get 1 Overall point per niggling player you have and get in the next two tournaments 1 Overall point every niggling you inflict to opponent (non apoed or regenerated).
This bonus points tend to make the team more willingfull to hit and help propagation of Nurgle's ROT.
If Khorne protects you, he gives you two overall points per Frenzy player you have and you get two extra points per kill you cause (non apoed or regenrated). These bonus points encourage spilling blood and killing, as Khorne loves.
If Tzeencht protects you, you get 2 points every time you hire a wizard (pm me to make it count) and 1 additionnal point if the wizard cause an injury.
If Slaanesh protects you, you get 1 pt immediately for every +MA player in the team and since he like beauty, 1 point every 2 passes done in the next 2 tournaments (If you have a better idea let me know but perverse beauty is hard to translate in BloodBowl world).
